The Heralds of Good News Fathers are called to live the Gospel through missionary preaching, pastoral care, and evangelization, especially among the spiritually neglected, the poor, and the youth. Their charism is rooted in bringing Christ to the world through the Word, the Sacraments, and compassionate service, with a strong emphasis on parish missions, retreats, and faith formation.
The Heralds of Good News (HGN) is a Clerical Missionary Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right, founded on October 14, 1984, in Eluru, India, by Fr. Jose Kaimlett. Dedicated to fostering vocations and training missionaries, the HGN focuses on serving dioceses with a shortage of priests, with over 250-500 priests serving globally.
